S&S 124 in. Hot Set-Up kit w/S&S Super Stock Cylinder Heads 140197: The S&S Hot Set Up kit for Twin Cams allows a Twin Cam owner to convert a stock 88" or 96" engine to 124" using the stock crankcases. Versions available using stock heads or S&S Super Stock heads: first version contains a dished piston designed to provide a 10.8:1 compression ratio with stock cylinder heads; second version features S&S 91cc cylinder heads with a compression ratio of 10.8:1 and electric compression releases. Include 4 1/8" bore cylinders and pistons, an S&S 4 5/8" stroke flywheel assembly, a set of S&S 640 gear drive cams, tappets, S&S pushrods, roller rocker arms, and all hardware, gaskets and instructions. Fuel system (carb or EFI) is not included and must be ordered separately (part numbers 165011, 183726, 202027, 202029, 183727, 202026 and 202028. NOTE: This project requires a skilled technician. There are several advantages to installing this kit as opposed to installing a complete 124 in. S&S engine, the major one being you dont have to pay for a complete engine, as many of the stock engine components such as the crankcases, oil pump, cam cover, and tappets are reused, saving hundreds of dollars. Complete kits come with a pair of black 91cc S&S Super Stock cylinder heads for Twin Cam B motors that produce a compression ratio of 10.8:1 for superior performance. All kits include 4 1/8 in. bore cylinders and pistons, an S&S 4 5/8 in. stroke flywheel assembly, a set of S&S .640 gear drive cams and all hardware, gaskets and instructions.
