The Panacea allows your rear taillight and turn signals to work together as running lights, brake lights and turn signals. Simple plug-in installation makes the Panacea an extremely user-friendly upgrade to virtually all late-model Harleys. If you install both the taillight and turn signal inserts, you'll have over 300 individual LEDs working for you. Deluxe Panacea taillight fits FLSTC/F/N 96-07, FLT (Road Kings and Dresser) 97-07, FXD 97-07 and XL 99-03. IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PANACEA TAILLIGHTS 1. All wiring for trailer lights must be spliced into the wiring harness ahead of the Panacea control module.2. If the rear of the motorcycle is equipped with any incandescent lights that were not original equipment, such lights must be spliced into the wiring harness ahead of the Panacea control module. Police models are often equipped with additional lights not found on their civilian counterparts. Be aware that these lights must be rewired, removed or converted to LED prior to installing a Panacea system. Panacea multi-function taillight system performs every function imaginable. The OEM style Squareback design is a direct replacement for the stock taillight; it can be used on full coverage or bobbed fenders. Panacea is available with plug-in two color LED Turn Signal Inserts for maximum sizzle. Feature LED illumination for the license plate as well as the following functions: Standard ON Running Light Mode: a bright bank of LEDs illuminate the entire rear facing surface of the taillight. This most basic function provides more light than standard incandescent bulbs. When coupled with the Panacea, the replacement Two Color LED Turn Signal Inserts also function as running lights. Front or Rear Brake Activated:The Panacea taillight and Two Color LED Turn Signal Inserts flash rapidly and more brightly for two seconds; then go to constant bright brake light mode. Right or Left Directional Activated: The red LEDs on the right or left 1/3 of the tail light are replaced by a flashing amber directional arrow turn signal.
