Incorporating an offset engine sprocket is a simple but effective way to create room when a super wide rear tire is being installed. By installing an offset sprocket, you eliminate the need to offset the entire engine, thus keeping the engines weight centered in the frame.
For high strength and logevity, it is made from 4350 chrome-poly tool steel an features induction hardened teeth.
The solid mount splined design is the most desireable type to use on high horsepower engines and is 4.5 lbs. lighter than a compensating sprocket assembly. Provides 1 in. offset when used on solid mount Big Twin Models 1955-99 (except Twin Cam 88) and will provide a 3/4 in. offset when used in conjunction with a non-balanced Twin Cam 88A engine used in a solid mount frame.
