  • Primary cover gasket and inspection cover gasket consists of an aluminum base sheet for rigidity covered with a chemically blown compound of foam-like nitrite synthetic rubber on both sides
  • Synthetic rubber compound will not absorb oil and will conform to uneven gasket surfaces such as chrome-plated housings
  • Gasket's aluminum base material provides a stable platform for the synthetic rubber compound and prevents any unwanted extruding common with paper-type gaskets
