Note:
To mount on a trunk rack and use a cover, the following information may be helpful:
The 2-piece mount is secured with two allen set screws, and the pole attaches to it with one set screw. Two allen wrenches are include. To use with a cover, you have to either remove just the pole or loosen the mounting set screws and rotate the assembly forward so it lays flat onto your rack. With the pole removed, the mount extends up about 1-7/8 in. above your rack tube that it's attached to.
